Wellselves is closely monitoring daily COVID-19 pandemic public health updates

Personal psychological consultations continue to be available at this time. Due to COVID-19 public health concerns, we have currently restricted our services to telephone and online consultations only. We strictly adhere to all recommended hygiene and safety protocols, including social distancing and self-monitoring of symptoms.

We will usually respond and confirm appointment times for TeleHealth psychological consultations within 24 hours.

Free Bulk Billing Counselling Support

Bulk billed Medicare TeleHealth video and telephone services are now being provided as a priority on request. TeleHealth consultations can be accessed directly from your computer or other compatible device, such as a smartphone. Any new or existing clients, ordinarily living within Australia, wanting personal support during the pandemic, may call to obtain cost-free consultations via TeleHealth.

Up to 10 rebated consultations are available with a registered, Medicare approved Clinical Psychologist

An active GP Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is the only requirement. To obtain / update an MHCP, call or book online at your preferred medical clinic. TeleHealth access to GP support also remains available in many local medical clinics at this time.

At Wellselves, all our telephone-based MCHP TeleHealth consultations are bulk billed. Please note we do now charge gap fees for all our online TeleHealth support consultations.

We expect TeleHealth to remain our only mode of service delivery until the COVID-19 public health risk has reduced sufficiently to allow limited resumption of face-to-face services and we expect TeleHealth services to continue to be available to the public, until notified otherwise by the Government. If there is advice from the Commonwealth Government that affects the ongoing availability of our TeleHealth services, we will update our service information at that time.
